Charity Golf Day in Support of MND Raises Over £6,000

On Tuesday 3rd June 2025, Wheatley Golf Club was proud to host a Charity Golf Day organised by club member Geoff Sims and his lifelong friend Keith Burke, in support of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charity.

The event was very well supported by both members and guests, who came together to enjoy a fantastic day of golf while raising funds for a truly worthy cause. Thanks to the generosity of those who sponsored the day, entered teams, and supported the raffle, an incredible £6,000 was raised.

A special thank you goes to Geoff and Keith for their outstanding efforts in organising the day. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work made the event possible and were instrumental in its success.

The day was a wonderful example of the strong community spirit at Wheatley Golf Club, and we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed. Whether through donations, sponsorship, or simply attending, your support helped make a real difference.

We look forward to supporting more charitable events like this in the future.
